Inspired by pieces from his personal collection of original military clothing, which numbers over 3000 rare pieces, the Taped Ventile Aircraft jacket, like everything in Nigel Cabourn's Authentic collection is constructed with particular reverence to authentic details. Constructed from Ventile cotton, a technique used by the RAF in WWII, it is sealed with genuine Ventile tape making it lightweight and flexible yet incredibly durable, ensuring 100% protection from wind and rain. This incredible respect for the production techniques of the past extends into this Jackets authentic details, and has developed the Aircraft jacket into something truly special. The jacket is closed with a military-spec RiRi zip, covered with a storm flap which fastens with rubber-backed metal pop studs.
