Trust and safety

Safe shopping guide

A practical checklist for checking retailer pages, payment routes, suspicious messages and order records before buying fashion online.

Diligo sends shoppers to retailers. A safe checkout still depends on checking the retailer page before payment.

Check first

Confirm the retailer domain before checkout.

Make sure the browser address matches the retailer's official domain and uses HTTPS. Scam sites often rely on near-identical spellings or copied brand imagery.

If a route feels suspicious, close the tab and open the retailer from a fresh search or a saved official bookmark.

Payment

Use payment methods with clear buyer protection.

Check the final price, delivery cost and return conditions before payment. If possible, use a payment method with a dispute process or buyer protection.

Avoid bank transfers for unfamiliar retailers unless you are certain the retailer and payment request are legitimate.

  • Final basket price and currency.
  • Delivery fee and delivery date.
  • Returns window and return postage rules.
  • Payment provider and retailer name.

Messages

Diligo will not ask for card details or passwords by email.

Diligo does not take payments, ship orders or handle refunds. Any email asking you to pay, confirm card details or update delivery information is not from Diligo.

Order, dispatch and refund messages come from the retailer you bought from. If a message looks suspicious, sign in to the retailer site directly instead of clicking links.

Diligo's responsibility is accurate product information and a correct retailer link. Payment, delivery and returns are the retailer's responsibility.

Note: Order, dispatch and return messages should come from the retailer you bought from.

Records

Keep proof of the retailer order.

Save the order confirmation, payment receipt and retailer customer service thread. These are the records you need if the retailer, payment provider or card issuer asks for evidence.
