Diligo Price Index · 12 July 2026
Which designer handbag brands hold their price?
We looked at 3,828 live designer handbags across UK retailers. The median sits at £890, but the range runs from under £40 to over £8,000 — and where a brand lands says a lot about whether it ever goes on sale.
The price ladder
Every brand with at least 15 live handbags, plotted by price. The houses at the top — Bottega Veneta, The Row, Prada — sit above £1,500 and hold firm. The accessible names at the bottom are also the ones that discount.
Who actually discounts
Of the 39 best-stocked brands, only 7 put a meaningful share of their handbags on sale. Michael Kors leads, with 57% of its range reduced by an average of 55%. The luxury houses are absent from this table by choice — they rarely mark down.
