From Nigel Cabourn’s ongoing collaboration with cult Japanese label Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO , these mountain sneakers are inspired by the militant Swiss army rucksack. Combining traditional craft with contemporary cool, the uppers are made from Japanese heavy duty canvas and overlaid with premium suede panelling in a red-clay colour – a nod to the leather strapping on the rucksack. The midsole has been hand-moulded to create a unique ripple while the oversized laces reflect the herringbone details that can be found on the inside of the original bag.
