For SS15, Nigel Cabourn has delved deep into his archive of vintage military designs for a selection of new silhouettes and reworked favourites that champion a golden age of functional design. After having their eye on it for a number of seasons, the team over at Cabourn HQ have now had the chance to recreate the iconic and hard to find Kitchener Jacket, breathing new life into this vintage design with a lightweight Irish loomstate linen fabric. Based on the standard issue jacket given to Lord Kitchener's troops, it has a rounded collar, UK sourced horn buttons and a hook and bar closure.
