One of the all time great Cabourn design, the Aircraft Jacket is back for SS'16 with an unlined, hemp canvas shell, treated with a full PU coating in order to give this natural material a technical edge. An example of the Cabourn team’s incredible ability to push detailing to its maximum potential, the oversized bellow pockets which have come to be a defining feature of this silhouette were originally based the pocket from an archive pair of Luftwaffe flight pants. Originally used to carry breathing equipment, the pocket has been refined and reworked over time, to the point in which you can genuinely see the handwriting in their design.
