Marking 25 years since the Berlin wall was torn down, re-unifying Germany and creating one of the most iconic events on the 20th century, adidas Originals are commemorating this momentous anniversary with three very special editions of their cult classic ZX 8000 runner, a silhouette which also made its debut in 1989. The 'Fall of the Wall' pack, reworking the vintage runner in three carefully considered colourways, taking direct inspiration from the three American Allied checkpoints that were located around the East/West Germany border; 'Alpha', 'Bravo' and 'Charlie'. Expertly made in Germany, the ZX 8000 Bravo borrows the pastel hues of the building surrounding Checkpoint Bravo and is constructed with salmon pink nubuck with synthetic underlays, a bright yellow heel cage and light aqua accents running throughout.
