Nike celebrate their Breaking2 project – an innovative experiment to break the two-hour marathon barrier – with the release of the NikeLab Zoom Fly SP for 2017. This semi-translucent pair features stretch-woven uppers that stretch and breathe with the foot and an embedded, full-length, carbon-infused nylon plate increases stiffness where the foot needs it most. These sneakers have been designed to be “fast enough for race day, yet durable enough for everyday training” and come complete with a highly resilient Lunarlon foam midsole and rubber outsole underfoot.
