Slovakian footwear brand Novesta and its minimalist designs collide with the work-wear inspired ethos of UK based brand Universal Works this season, delivering the fourth instalment of their collaborative effort. Crafted from a traditional Portuguese fabric called Burel – a material traditionally worn by Portuguese shepherds and farmers and is perfectly suited for footwear being weather resistant, breathable and durable – this pair of Star Dribble’s have been handmade in central Slovakia and their humble silhouette is made with humble machinery that presses the natural rubber soles onto the uppers avoiding the use of toxic shoe glues.
