Taking inspiration from Japan’s Shinobi ninjas, an all-black colourway for the NMD_CS1 reflects “the art of seeing through the darkness”. A collaboration between Germany’s The Good Will Out and adidas Consortium, the two have intricately applied three interconnected Primeknit patterns to the NMD’s uppers – resulting in a gradient effect. Entitled “Ankoku Toshi Jitsu”, the model sees a full-length boost™ midsole underfoot, whilst TGWO add a trail-ready outsole that allows for trekking through the elements. Rounding off the colab, co-branded leather insoles and heel tape featuring the words “The Art of Seeing Through Darkness” and “The Good Will Out” in both English and Japanese.
