This season marks esteemed designer Taka Hayashi’s 17th collection with Vans . Continuing to show influences from Native American culture in his designs, Hayashi’s attention to detail is second to none. This Slip On 66 LX takes cues from the original, but elevates the design with nubuck leather uppers for a premium finish. The shoe sits on a classic waffle rubber outsole that’s been updated with a directional stripe pattern, while the Japanese designer adds wavy stripe embroidery and a debossed pattern to the heel.
