Nike , Sacai and CLOT recently came together to rework the LD Waffle, with inspiration taken from the Air Max 1 ‘Kiss of Death’ that launched in 2006. All three are back again for the second time this season, and it’s those grail-worthy AM1s that get the nod again. The trio head back to 2013 this time, mirroring the no-sew fused uppers and grey, blue and green colourway of the ‘Kiss of Death 2’ first released that year. Chitose Abe’s usual avant-garde touches are in there, too, like the doubled-up details — tongues, Swooshes and laces — and the chunky, jutting sole unit.
