Nike and CLOT are no stranger to a partnership, having joined forces with many grail-worthy releases before. The same can be said for the Swoosh and Chitose Abe’s Sacai , too. This is, however, the first time all three come together, and it’s those past link-ups that serve as inspiration. The much-loved LDWaffle is the shoe of choice, with tan suede uppers, semi-translucent underlays and orange and red accents nodding to CLOT’s iconic ‘Kiss of Death’ Air Max 1. All of the model’s famous features remain intact, though, like the doubled-up details — tongues, laces and Swooshes — and the jutting midsole to really drive home the bold look.
