When Belgian designer Raf Simons unveiled his SS'17 runway collection in Florence each look included a printed rendition of a piece of work from divisive American photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe. Famed for imagery composed almost entirely in a highly stylized black and white palette, Mapplethorpe's back catalogue of work includes everything from portraits of celebrities to spectacular landscapes, one of which appears printed here to the chest of a lightweight cotton tee. Crafted in Italy from a pure cotton jersey, the tee is cut with Simons' oversized 'American Fit' and is simple finished with a ribbed crew neck.
