adidas and Berlin-based retailer Overkill are no strangers to collaboration. They’ve teamed up numerous times in the past, and they’re back again, as part of the A-ZX series, to celebrate all things ZX. And what better way to celebrate than by creating an amalgamation of some of the most iconic models from the line. Dubbed the ZX 8500, it shares a base with the ZX 8000, a lacing system from the ZX 5000 and overlays from the ZX 9000. It’s not all performance, though. A graffiti-inspired colourway gives a nod to the street’s acceptance of the line, with muted greys reflecting concrete canvases and neon hues serving as the paint. There’s a detachable overshoe, too, designed to protect the sneaker from overspray while you’re out painting.
