Stockholm’s Our Legacy have collaborated with Vans Vault to create a new line of footwear and apparel inspired by Californian sub cultures and Our Legacy’s co-founder Jockum Hallin’s upbringing in early 90’s Sweden, where he discovered the world of skateboarding. For SS17 Vans Vault x Our Legacy present contrasting views of the highs and lows between street culture and high quality design. The Vans Vault x Our Legacy SK8-Mid Pro '91 LX are a take on a rare chukka version of the Sk8-Hi. The uppers are custom cut to the early '90s panel pattern, using suede and mil-spec nylon. The custom mid-soles were developed to reflect the subtle differences and imperfections seen in vintage Vans, with uneven toe bumpers and higher, textured foxing.
