Reebok’s Club C has clean design lines and simple uppers, providing the perfect canvas for a little experimentation. And this version is made in collaboration with Maison Margiela , so you can count on that being the case. They’re designed to give nod to the fashion house’s background in couture as well as trompe l'oeil — an artistic technique that uses optical illusions to make objects appear three dimensional — with its panelling, stitching and perforations drawn on to look like it's in its early stages of design. There’s a neutral hue that appears throughout, too, and co-branding at the tongues — Reebok’s Vector logo and Margiela’s numerical code — to complete the look.
