Bold colours aren’t usually New Balance’s go-to, but when Jaden Smith gets involved, all rulebooks are out of the window. The two are back again with another version of the multihyphenate’s Vision Racer, and it’s just as out-there as we’ve come to expect. They’re inspired by the heritage label’s X-Racer and 1700, like usual, only the design lines are exaggerated and the sole unit is chunky, tripled blocked and multicoloured. The materials are of note, too — they reflect the multihyphenate’s eco-minded focus, with everything from vegan suede to part-recycled EVA foam used.
