NYC’s Engineered Garments links back up with Finnish footwear specialist Tarvas to debut the fun and furry Forest Bather kicks, a hybrid of technical hiking aesthetics with contemporary fabric choices. Fluffy faux fur uppers take a nod to Nordic heritage and explore the concept of ‘Forest Bathing’ a Japanese practice of relaxation, known in Japan as ‘shinrin yoku’, while a grippy rubber sole takes the functionality route, providing grip on uneven terrain.
