For 2016 Nike rework an icon that first appeared in 1982, the first basketball shoe to play host to the revolutionary Nike Air technology within its midsole. Here the silhouette is given a rugged update in the form of ballistic nylon uppers, with full-grain leather overlays sitting to the full front section. As always a perforated toebox features alongside some winterized updates such as a gusseted tongue, soft suede lining and a hidden pocket under the tongue in which to safely store valuables. The bag comes supplied with a coordinating nylon tote bag, the straps of which can be removed and added to the shoe as an additional ankle strap.
