The SK8-Hi first hit the skate scene in 1978, and as the high-top model which showcased the now-iconic “jazz stripe” marker, it brought a whole new look to Vans. Vans Vault honours the legendary high top, with a mixed material hiking-esque iteration this season - the UA SK8-Hi Reissue VLT LX. Uppers are dressed in a durable ripstop nylon and contrasted with a hairy suede at the toe box, lace cage and heel. Above the grippy waffle outsole is an UltraCush™ midsole for all-day comfort and the distinct Vans red rubber heel scab finishes.
