adidas teams up with Parley For The Oceans to put an eco-friendly spin on its 70’s classic, the Superstar. The uppers are crafted from at least 50% recycled materials, then they’re detailed with a heel tab and tongue webbing made entirely using yarn from ocean plastic collected on the beach. Despite its sustainable makeover, however, the shoe’s distinctive features remain the same, in the from of 3-Stripes at the side wall and a hard shell toe.
