A perfectionist and true craftsman, Robert McKinlay started producing footwear in 1870, supplying boots and shoes to a growing Dunedin population. Dating back five generations, the McKinlays company produces footwear using the "veldtschoen" method, containing stitched through and cement construction - noted for comfort, flexibility and strength. The Sherwood silhouette is a handmade, classic desert boot updated with modern detailing. Constructed with leather uppers mounted on their signature comfort sole, the boot is finished with a crepe sole, flat laces and metal eyelets.
