Originally designed in the late 1940s by Adi Dassler to provide traction on icy ground, the Samba is one of Adidas’ most iconic silhouettes - so it’s no surprise that Pharrell Williams is continuing his collaborative work with the brand to refresh the Samba with a Humanrace edge. First worn by Pharrell at his Mighty Dream Forum event, this reimagined pair replaces the traditional Samba gold foil with the Humanrace name along the midfoot, just below the elongated tongue that gives the shoe its distinctive silhouette.
