Renowned Japanese leather artisans Hender Scheme have partnered with Casio’s G-SHOCK watch division to produce an exclusive luxury iteration of the brand’s iconic DW-5600 model. Keeping the fundamentals, the contemporary beige colourways and hidden functionality deliver a minimalist statement for the ages. A hand-sewn vegetable-tanned leather band falls in line with Hender Scheme’s leather-focussed design ethos, but also includes a standard resin band to match the watch body. Other notable functions include a shock-resistant structure, water-proofing to 20 meters, an inbuilt stopwatch, full calendar, and a backlight display with subtle Hender Scheme branding.
