British label YMC are masters of playfully adapting wardrobe staples with a focus on quality detailing and contemporary styling. For their SS 17 collection, named Okoro, inspiration was drawn from counter-cultural elements of Britain, specifically African Art and Music. The cotton twill that has been used to create the Jay short has undergone a garment drying process to produce a deep colouration to its surface.
