This season iconic British brand Fred Perry celebrates the work of the late Barney Bubbles and his contribution to the music and design scenes of the 70s and 80s – inspired by the subcultures that followed and evolved from his work. The aesthetic of these pieces adopt the same DIY style that this artist is so well known for. In homage to the founding father of album-cover artwork, this cotton piqué Do It Yourself Polo is reworked with a graphic print and lettering taken from the artist’s collection to the back. The iconic Laurel Wreath is outlined here in a distorted red colourway, another example of the artist’s punk aesthetic.
