Tapping into the workman’s uniform trend, British footwear maker Dr. Martens collaborate with Engineered Garments on a capsule collection that reissues their iconic 1461 shoe. Reworking the icon into a modern utilitarian silhouette, EG’s founder Daiki Suzuki adds subtle touches such as an asymmetrical vamp and eyelets that sport a half traditional, half ghillie loop. Maintaining some of the classic detailing, the traditional details include scripted heel loop, iconic yellow stitching and durable Goodyear welt.
