Re-envisioning a classic technology for the future, adidas debut the Deerupt Runner with a disruptively simple design and grid like mesh upper. Unexpectedly, there is no sign of three stripe branding across the base or net mesh overlays – just a branded patch to the medial side and heel patch adorned in suede. To the midsole, the web overlays continue; taking inspiration from the signature mesh support of the Marathon – developed by “Adi” himself and originally intended to achieve uniform compression and rebound.
