A new arrival for SS14 here at END, AMI is the brain child of French designer Alexandre Mattiussi. A former student at the Duperré fashion design school in Paris, Mattiussi cut his teeth working for Dior, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs before coming out with his debut collection in 2011. Focusing on ready to wear pieces and easy, honest design, AMI create clothing with nods to classic tailoring, Parisian sophistication and with a sense of authenticity. A new aesthetic for a sportswear staple, the AMI Tropical Varsity Jacket is constructed with a combination of tropical print canvas and incredibly supple leather sleeves cut from Lamb leather.
