When it comes to anniversaries, it’s clear Nike knows how to celebrate. Not content with bringing back the OG name, this Air Max III also has an OG colourway. It’s a rerelease of the women’s Eggplant makeup that first appeared back in 1990 alongside the iconic Infrared and Laser Blue. Named after the purple hits that grace the mudguard, eyestay and heart-shaped heel plaque, it truly makes the most of Tinker Hatfield’s timeless model. The construction is more reminiscent of the OG, too, with a slimmer midsole towards the toe and the enclosed forefoot Air bag returning to further improve the comfort levels.
