Air Max 1 '87 SE WNike
Description
Nike is once again honouring Hangul Day, a celebration that takes place on October 9th in South Korea and January 15th in North Korea. This day commemorates the creation of the Korean alphabet by King Sejong the Great in the 15th century. The special edition Air Max 1 draws inspiration from the tones found on King Sejong's statue in Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square, featuring a white mesh base overlaid with Khaki suede. The iconic Swoosh is crafted in 'Coconut Milk' leather and is stitched in a mini version on the lateral side of the mudguard. However, the real highlight of these kicks is the phonetic spelling of Nike in Korean on the left heel, and the Nike 1972 branding on the right. Further Hangul details can be found on the insole and hangtag, making this a true homage to Korean culture and history. Mesh Upper Suede Overlay Rubber Outsole Style Code: FQ8150-133
