When you think of recognisable adidas colourways, aqua and shock yellow are two hues that immediately spring to mind. They’re synonymous with the ZX series, and they appear like you’ve never seen them before on this XZ 0006. Don’t get confused by that naming — it’s a ZX 6000 through and through but, just like the Inside Out from 2020’s A-ZX pack release, it’s given a deconstructed rework. The usual mesh upper is layered up with raw-edged, perforated foam and exoskeleton-like translucent overlays, emulating early factory prototypes. No further development is needed underfoot, though, where EVA cushioning and Torsion tech keep your steps as comfortable as ever.
