In the lull between Christmas ‘07 and New Year ‘08, adidas and NYC graffiti legends IRAK teamed up to surprise sneakerheads the world over with a shock collab. This year’s A-ZX Pack revisits some of adidas’ most iconic partnerships, and that one certainly qualifies. Reimagined in ZX 8000 style, the 2008 OG’s colourway is replicated almost exactly, down to the violet leather tongue, neon yellow laces and blood orange overlays. Integrated GORE-TEX® is a functional, weather-resistant update, while adidas’ innovative Torsion tech adds stability across the sole. It’s signed off with vibrant Three Stripes on the sidewall and a new, present-day date stamp on the toe cap.
