Tasked with the challenge of subverting everything we know about a sportswear giant, Alexander Wang unites with adidas to produce a capsule collection for 2017. Together the pair readdress the conventions of branding, delivering a capsule collection that pushes adidas’ signature trademarks into a bold new look. The idea of showcasing what would normally be concealed on the inside is a common theme throughout the collection. Here both the front and the back of a soft fleece jersey have been used to striking effect, constructed with a series of horizontal panels.
