adidas SPZL has a deep appreciation for the archives, with classic styles often tweaked and updated in Gary Aspden’s usual fashion. And that’s the case this time, too, with the iconic Marathon 86 brought under the spotlight. Most key features remain — a fluorescent yellow and navy blue palette, a retro aesthetic and an EVA sole — though there are some changes, albeit subtle ones.
