1st String x Maison Martin Margiela Jack Purcell Jack OxConverse
Description
A collaboration between one of the original sneaker company's and one of contemporary fashion's most innovative designers, the Converse 1st String x Maison Martin Margiela Jack Purcell Jack Ox. A typically left field design from MMM, they have literally used the Jack Purcell as a canvas for their unique ideas, hand painting each shoe individually in clean white, creating a transient, minimal white coating. Intended to create a distressed aesthetic and a finish absolutely unique to each shoe, this white paint is design to flake off, gradually revealing the shoe beneath over time. A fascinating approach to the art of collaboration and one of the most highly anticipated footwear releases of 2013. Individually Hand Painted Canvas Construction Leather Lined Internal Maison Martin Margiela Numbers Logo Metal Eyelets Vulcanised Outsole Highly Limited Release Each pair of Converse 1st String x Maison Martin Margiela Jack Purcell Jack Ox are individually painted by hand and as a result the finish will differ from shoe to shoe and is designed to degrade over time.
